What We Collect

correctbankfile.com processes the OFX, QFX, or QBO content you submit for validation. These files may contain sensitive financial metadata, so we treat uploads as private financial data.

How We Use Your Data

• Run format, account, transaction, and compatibility checks on the supplied file.
• Return validation results and next-step guidance.
• Generate aggregate operational metrics such as request counts, result status, byte size, and issue-code counts.

Logs & Retention

We avoid storing raw financial payloads by default. Short-lived operational logs may include timestamp, request ID, route, status, byte size, and redacted filename metadata for debugging and abuse prevention.

Cookies & Tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand product usage, for example page views, validator usage, and upgrade funnels. We do not use GA for advertising or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare may place essential cookies to deliver and secure the service. We do not sell personal information.

Subprocessors

• Cloudflare - hosting for the Worker API and static site delivery.
• Google Analytics - aggregate product usage analytics.
• GitHub - CI/CD and issue tracking.

Data Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Access to infrastructure credentials is scoped and deployment history is managed through GitHub Actions.

Your Choices

If you prefer not to submit live financial data, redact names, account numbers, and memo fields before upload where practical.
